Lake Mummaga Walk, Bodalla State Forest

Atlas Naturalists Field Day

Spotted Gum and Burrawang forest. A 2km loop track, easy walking for much of the way, with the option of a steep track down to the lakeside.

The diverse vegetation and ridge aspect provide an ideal environment for a wide variety of orchids and other spring flowers. There should be many insects starting to re-appear, and we may even have hill topping butterflies. Reptiles should also be on the move.
