It's time to start flagging your best images of wild nature taken during your explorations throughout our region this year. 
The competition celebrates the wonderful biodiversity of the South-East Corner.


We'll be accepting entries from September 1st 2018.

who can enter

Entry is open anyone who is registered as a contributor on the Atlas of Life NatureMapr.



Again this year we will have a wide range of categories: Birds; Flora & Fungi; Invertebrates; Marine & Intertidal Species; Underwater; Terrestrial Vertebrates; Nightlife; Habitats; Atlas Naturalists in Action; Smartphone; Primary school students; High school students.


Exhibition and prizes

All entries will be showcased on the Atlas of Life website. Winners will be announced in early November at a celebratory exhibition at Merimbula EyeQ. Prints will then be displayed in various libraries around the Shire.

And again this year there are great prizes of offer. Overall first prize is two nights in a luxurious Tanja Lagoon Camp safari tent, while other prizes include a $150 voucher for Wheeler’s Seafood Restaurant , kindly donated by Jacqui Smith, and a further voucher for $100 – so it’s well worth you entering!
