add your sightings

Have you seen something of interest in our region? It might be a bird that you've not noticed before. Or a native plant in flower. Perhaps you found a weird creature during a walk along the beach. Maybe a new 'bug' has appeared in your garden.

Download the app and try adding new sightings and get the hang of the way the system works. Once you have logged into iNaturalist, to join the Atlas of Life Project, click on the “Community” menu on your home page; select “Projects” and search for Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness.

There you will see our project and recognise our map and see the sightings that have already been added.
Click on the “Join” button at the top right next to the one showing our members.

You can add audio files and photos through the website and the Android app, but photos only on the iPhone app for now.
