Boxes of all shapes and sizes at Dignams Creek

The community of Dignams Creek is currently working on a post- bushfire project to build install and monitor artificial nesting . The target species currently being yellow- tailed and glossy cockatoos, powerful owl and greater and yellow- bellied gliders. Gang gang cockatoos are also on the list. It is thanks to the Cobargo Bower Bird Op shop Tahiti enabled the project to begin with their generous donation of $2500. Since this the Project has also received a grant of just under $6000 from Bega Valley Council Community Environmental Program which will enable a larger range of nest boxes to be made and purchase monitoring equipment.
