New bird in our patch

Steve Sass, Harrison Warne and Andrew Morrison were lucky enough to get good sightings of an adult and juvenile Noisy Pitta near Bermagui on 14/07/14. This is the most southerly record for this bird in Australia which in my reference book says it’s range is down to the Hunter. It was Chris Hemmingsem who shared his sighting on the 12/7 that brought this visitor to attention.
