The Occasional Paper Series is a new, citizen-science initiative of the Atlas of Life.

And the first piece has just been published! 

'A Love Affair with Martensia' by Roy Francis (an Atlas contributor) is the story of Roy's quest to identify a remarkable marine alga he first sighted while exploring the waters of the Far South Coast.
