For all of you keen photographers, here are details of another competition you might like to enter. Organised by Karl Beckert and Nature Conservation Council New South Wales is blessed with beautiful and amazing natural places. From the beauty of Sydney Harbour, to the Blue Mountains, our pristine beaches, and the never-ending sun of the outback, our nature is unique and world class. What better way to celebrate nature in New South Wales than with photos that inspire us and showcase our state as one of the most special places on the planet.

I’d like to invite you to take part in our Love Nature photo competition: A celebration of our state, our people, and our beautiful wildlife. Nominations must be submitted by 26 October 2014. To enter, simply submit a photo of New South Wales’ beautiful and unique natural environment under one of the categories listed below. Entries can either be sent to ncc.competitions@gmail.com or posted to our Facebook pagenatureconservation_bannerphoto_1.

There will be a winner in each category, and one public favourite determined by views and comments on social media. Winners and honourable mentions will also be displayed at NCC’s Annual Conference on the 1st and 2nd November 2014. Best of all, entering will help our campaign to protect the beautiful nature of NSW. We will endeavour to use all photographs submitted to showcase our great outdoors.
