SC Marine Society Secret Beach survey

On 17th November Michael will lead us to one of his best shell beaches - Secret Beach at Haycock's Point. The Sapphire Coast Marine Society and anyone else who is interested,  will meet at the Barmouth Beach car park at 12:00 noon on Saturday 17th.

Directions to the car park: First travel south on the highway from Pambula towards Eden for 10.8 km where you will see a sign saying Ben Boyd National Park Haycock Road, turn left. This is a dirt road, you travel along this road for 5.7 km until you see a sign on the left saying Barmouth Beach 1 km, turn left and travel along this road till you reach the car park, Not far.
The car park is not large so no chance of being missed.
We are meeting there at 12.00 noon for lunch ( bring your own) after which we will go for a leisurely stroll along the track towards Haycock Point till we get to secret beach.
 Please wear clothes for all weathers and bring sunscreen and hats as well as your lunch. We look forward to seeing you there.
